About us

As a global leader in alternators and a benchmark in 48-V systems, SEG Automotive Spain plays a key role in the transition to electrified and efficient mobility.

Our plant and offices are located in Adal-Treto, Cantabria, and we have a workforce of around 650 people.

The Spanish factory stands out for its quality and constant innovation to improve its products, optimising their efficiency and greatly reducing CO2 emissions.

Our 48V BRM alternator for micro-hybrid vehicles is a solution that reduces fuel consumption in a wide variety of combustion vehicles.

Specialized in the development and manufacture of all types of alternators, we are a supplier of components for the automotive industry since 1962.

In recent years, SEG Automotive Spain has developed several products for light electric mobility, with e-drives and electronic controllers for microcars, motorcycles and electric bicycles.
